This has been up on the Charlaine Harris Web site under news. You’ve got until Feb. 12 to send in a question! Details below!

1/29/10 – 2/12/10

As part of the huge project The Sookie Companion has become, we’re offering a two-week time period in which you can send your questions to producer/director/writer Alan Ball, who will answer them in the Companion. My assistant, Paula, will collect all your questions and send them to the editor at TeknoBooks who’s responsible for coordinating all the elements going into the Companion, which we hope will be out next year. Paula and the editor will weed out redundant questions. Of course, these questions should focus on the TV series “True Blood,” and they should be sent to: askalanb@yahoo.com. This address is ONLY for this special project.

Hummm — lots of stuff to ask Alan Ball. Like — why no Elvis vamp? OK — there are heavier Qs to ask. What are folks gonna ask?

How about if he can kill off Tara, because the version of that character that is in the show really gets on my nerves. I don’t know what it is about her, but I really dislike her. 🙂

What? You don’t like Tara! (hee hee) At first, I thought her character on the show might turn out to be interesting. But she is always so messed up and confused and a whiner that I am getting very tired of her. Now that Eggs is gone in the HBO series, she’s prolly gonna be even more weirded out in the next season. The whole storyline with the Maenad dragged on too long for me …. and Tara’s character was a big part of that. Hopefully, Alan Ball will do something different with her character in Season 3. I should check out the Last Bite podcast site and see what they’re saying about Season 3 …
